This week, the live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender is finally on Netflix. Because of the show’s popularity, it debuted in the top spot on the top 10 chart for the past week. New additions to the top 10 include the latest comedy special from Mike Epps, a true crime documentary, a fantastic martial arts drama, and the second season of Resident Alien. Below, we have listed the top 10 shows in the U.S. from February 19 to February 25, along with general information about each show, including genre, rating, cast, and synopsis.

10. The Vince Staples Show (2024)
To say that Vince Staples is only a rapper would be a disservice. The talented multihyphenate is a singer, writer, actor, and director. And you can add series creator to his résumé after the release of The Vince Staples Show, a five-episode satirical show set in his hometown of Long Beach, California. Staples is following in the footsteps of other rappers who developed television shows, like Donald Glover with Atlanta and Lil Dicky with Dave.
Each episode follows a day in the life of Staples, which is the opposite of normal. From fighting with an amusement park mascot to spending time in jail, Staples fights a new daily challenge. Half drama and half comedy, The Vince Staples Show is a solid debut for an entertainer with a bright future.
9. Resident Alien season 2 (2021)
After coming to Earth on a mission to kill humanity, extraterrestrial Harry (Alan Tudyk) abandons his mission after spending time with the residents of Patience, Colorado, including Asta (Sara Tomko) and Max (Judah Prehn), the only two people he likes. Max remains the only person able to see through Harry’s disguise and view his alien form. With the help of his two friends, Harry slowly learns more about Earth while simultaneously regaining his memories of his past life.
Realizing others might carry out his original mission, Harry attempts to contact more extraterrestrials to prevent humanity’s extinction. Revealing his secret identity may be the least of Harry’s concerns after discovering the presence of a government organization that hunts extraterrestrials.
8. The Tourist season 1 (2022)
Jamie Dornan is a stranger in a foreign place in The Tourist. Elliot (Dornan) is an Irish man who wakes up in an Australian hospital with amnesia. Elliot’s amnesia is so bad that he doesn’t even remember his name. He eventually comes to learn that he was forced off the road and left for dead.
Without any major leads, Elliot must follow the few clues he has to figure out his identity and discover who’s after him. Along the way, Elliot receives assistance from a local cop, Helen (Danielle Macdonald). Season 1 aired on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the U.K. and on Max in the U.S. However, Max dropped season 2. Season 2 will stream on Netflix on February 29.
7. Warrior season 1 (2019)
Who better to come up with an idea for a series centered around Chinese fighters than Bruce Lee? Lee’s writings inspired the creation of Warrior, a crime drama set during the Tong Wars in the late 19th century. In San Francisco’s Chinatown, Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji) is a martial artist who emigrates from China in search of his sister, Xiaojing (Dianne Doan), who fled to the U.S. years prior.
Sahm quickly rises to the ranks as a fighter and becomes a hit man for a powerful organized crime family. Sahm soon finds himself in the heart of a turf war with deadly consequences. Good luck finding a television series with more exciting fight sequences than Warrior.
6. One Day (2024)
The complicated love story of Emma “Em” Morley (Ambika Mod) and Dexter “Dex” Mayhew (Leo Woodall) comes to life in One Day. On June 15, 1988, Em and Dex hook up on their graduation night after speaking to each other for the first time earlier that day. Although they go their separate ways, their connection is magical, leading the duo to think about what life would be like with each other.
Over the next 20 years, One Day checks in with Em and Dex on July 15 every year. Though they date other people and live different lives, Em and Dex are destined to be with each other, even if they don’t know when or how it will happen. One Day is based on David Nicholls’ best-selling novel of the same name. The series is also based on the feature film adaption of One Day with Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess.
5. Can I Tell You a Secret? (2024)
The hunt to catch a prolific online stalker in the U.K. is depicted in Can I Tell You a Secret? Directed by Hell Camp: Teen Nightmare‘s Liza Williams, the true crime documentary follows three women – Abby Furness, Zoe Jade Hallam, and Lia Marie Hambly – who were stalked by the same person, who turned out to be Matthew Hardy. At first, the women did not think they were being stalked. They all received harmless messages in the beginning.
However, Hardy’s stalking intensified when he began reaching out to the women’s loved ones while invading their privacy. Unbeknownst to this trio, Hardy was stalking dozens of women. Can I Tell You a Secret? explores Hardy’s reign of terror and how the police eventually hunted down one of the nation’s most notorious cyber stalkers.
4. Resident Alien season 1 (2021)
In Resident Alien, an alien (Alan Tudyk) crash-lands in the small town of Patience, Colorado, with the mission of destroying humanity. The alien takes on the identity of Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle. After the town’s doctor is murdered, Harry takes over the town’s clinic.
By watching Law & Order and studying his patients, Harry learns to become a human as he discovers more about their traits and abilities. Everyone in the town believes Harry is a human except for Max Hawthorne (Judah Prehn), the mayor’s young son who can see through Harry’s human disguise. As he spends more time on Earth, Harry grapples with his original mission to eliminate humans from Earth.
3. Mike Epps: Ready to Sell Out (2024)
Mike Epps has been making audiences laugh for over three decades. The actor and comedian first rose to prominence as a comedian in HBO’s Def Comedy Jam broadcasts and as an actor in Next Friday. Now, Epps is back with his fourth stand-up comedy special for Netflix, Ready to Sell Out.
Filmed at the Gila River Resorts and Casinos in Arizona, teh special sees Epps poking fun at his financial woes as he ponders where all his money went — hence why he’s ready to sell out. Epps riffs on topics from personal relationships and aging to raising children and infidelity. Epps has much to say, so sit back and watch the talented comedian go to work.
2. Love Is Blind season 6 (2020)
Love is Blind is back for season 6. Netflix’s dating experiment welcomes 30 new singles to the pods as they search for love. The singles try to form relationships by talking to each other through a speaker. When the daters make a connection, they can extend a marriage proposal.
If a marriage proposal is accepted, the contestants can finally meet each other face-to-face. After a couples retreat and a multiweek stint living together, it all comes down to the wedding. Will the couple go through with the marriage or end the engagement? New episodes will be released every Wednesday for the remainder of February before the finale on March 6.

After years in development, Avatar: The Last Airbender, the long-awaited live-action adaptation of the famous Nickelodeon animated series, has finally arrived on Netflix. In The Last Airbender, four elements – Water, Earth, Fire, and Air – make up the four nations, which used to live in harmony.
